Commuter Licenses
Commuter licensing allows your customer to use a licensed application on a portable computer that is not connected to the network. The most common use of commuter licensing is when a network user needs to travel for business and wants to take along the licensed application. If the license is defined to allow commuter licensing, the network user can check out an authorization to use the application for the duration of the trip. After this, either the user can check in the authorization manually (if returning before the commuter duration) or the License Manager reclaims the authorization automatically (at the end of the commuter duration).
